SELF-TIMER
The
electronic
self-timer
built
into
your
XG-A can
be
used
to
delay release
of
the
shutter
for
about
10
seconds
after
actuation.
To
operate
it:
1. Advance
the
film,
compose
your
picture,
and
focus.
2. With
the
shutter-
function
selector
at
a
setting
other
than
"B,"
move
the
main
switch
to
align
the
index
with
"SELF-
TIMER."
3 . Depress
the
operating
button.
The
blinking
I ight on
the
front
of
the
camera will indicate
the
delay has been
started.
Approximately
2.5
sec.
before
the
exposure
is
made,
the
LED
indicator
will speed
up
to
signal
the
end
of
the
delay. You may cancel
the
self-timer
by
moving
the
main switch
to
"OFF
."
NOTE
After
using
the
self-timer
be
sure
to
move
the
main switch
off
the
"SELF-TIMER"
setting.
In
automatic
mode,
the
self-timer will can-
cel if
exposure
conditions
exceed
the
upper
range
of
the
metering system. Operation will
resume when
aperture
or
other
conditions
are adjusted so
that
exposure
conditions are
within
metering range.
