[6] Refrigerant Charging
1. Reasons
R407C is a mixture of 3 refrigerants, each with a different evaporation temperature. Therefore, if the equipment is charged
with R407C gas, then the refrigerant whose evaporation temperature is closest to the outside temperature is charged frist
while the rest of refrigerants remain in the cylinder.
2. Notes
When using a cylinder with a siphon, refrigerant is charged in the liquid state without the need for turning it upside down. Check
the type of the cylinder on the label before use.
[7] Remedies to be taken in case of a Refrigerant Leak
If the refrigerant leaks out, all of the remaining refrigerant must be replaced with a new charge to maintain the proper composition
of the refrigerant. Repair the leak, and then charge the system with the specified amount of refrigerant (5.5 kg). (Charge refrigerant
in the liquid state.)
