Function Description
The Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2040u is a high-resolution, microprocessor-based color display monitor designed for use with both PC and Macintosh platforms. It features auto-scanning capabilities, allowing it to adapt to various video cards and software without requiring a new monitor. The monitor is capable of producing crisp text and vivid color graphics. It complies with various safety, EMI, and ergonomic standards, including UL 1950, CSA C22.2 No.950, EN60950, FCC Class-B, VCCI Class-B, EN55022 Class-B, EN50082-1, EN61000-3-2, EN61000-3-3, MPR-II, ISO 9241-3, ISO9241-7, ISO9241-8, and TCO'99 guidelines for environmental safe use. Usage Features
- Auto-Scanning: Digitally controlled auto-scanning for horizontal scan frequencies between 30kHz and 121kHz and vertical scan frequencies between 50Hz and 160Hz.
- Preset Memory: Contains resident memory for pre-programmed screen display standards and can store up to 15 additional user adjustment parameters.
- OSD (On Screen Display) Functions: All monitor set-up and adjustment functions are accessible via an intuitive On Screen Display. - Tilt/Swivel Base: Allows adjustment of the monitor's angle and tilt for maximum viewing comfort, with 90 degrees right or left rotation, 10 degrees up, and 5 degrees down tilt.
Maintenance Features
- Cleaning: The monitor should be unplugged before cleaning. The screen and cabinet can be wiped with a soft cloth. A household window cleaner can be applied to a soft cloth for screen cleaning, but direct spraying should be avoided. Benzene, thinner, volatile substances, and abrasive cleaners should not be used.
- Troubleshooting: A dedicated section in the user's guide provides a chart for common problems (e.g., no picture, abnormal picture, buzzing sound) and corresponding items to check and locations to inspect.
- Factory Presets: The monitor comes with popular display standards preset, and all factory presets can be overwritten by user adjustments. "GEOMETRY RESET" and "ALL RESET" functions are available to restore factory preset levels for various settings.
- Serial Number: A space is provided in the user's guide to record the serial number, which is located on the rear cover of the monitor, for future reference.
