Inspection of Fuel Control Link-
age Ball Joints
Check the ball joints in the fuel control linkage for
looseness.
If the amount of looseness is more than 0.1 mm
[0.004 in.], consult a Mitsubishi dealer to replace
the ball joints.
Never break a seal of fuel control link to replace the
ball joints.
If the seal on the ball joint is broken, the warranty
may be invalidated.
