6.11 Troubleshooting
Problem Possible cause Solution

The position of the cu is not
correct or has not been properly
adjusted.
Place the cu correctly and try
again.
Body posture during the test
was not correct.
Review the “BODY POSTURE
DURING MEASUREMENT” section
in the instructions and try again.
Talking, arm or body
movements, nervousness
during the test
Try again when you are calm and
do not talk or move during the
test.
Irregular heartbeat (arrhythmias) This electronic blood pressure
monitor is not suitable for use by
persons with severe arrhythmias.
LCD shows
battery symbol
Low battery Replace the batteries
LCD shows “Er 0“ Pressure system is unstable
before measurement
Do not move and try again
LCD shows“Er 1“ Does not detect systolic
pressure
LCD shows “Er 2“ Does not detect diastolic
pressure
LCD shows “Er 3“ Pneumatic system blocked or
cu too tight during ination
Apply the cu correctly and try
again.
LCD shows “Er 4“ Leaks in the pneumatic system
or cu is too tight during ination
LCD shows “Er 5“ cu pressure above 300 mmHg
Measure again after ve minutes.
If the monitor is still not abnormal,
please contact your local
distributor or the factory.
LCD shows “Er 6“ More than 160 seconds with cu
pressure above 15 mmHg
LCD shows “Er 7“ Internal memory error
LCD shows “Er 8“ Device parameter check error
LCD shows “Er A“ Pressure sensor parameter error
