Step3:Windingextraroundoftensionwire
-Onceagainholdthespringcasefirmlysothatit
cannotremovethealreadyappliedtension.
-Now,whilespringcaseisfirmlyheld,takethe
extralengthoftensionwirethatisjuststretched,
andwindanextraroundaroundthespringcase.
-Makesurethatthetensionwireisfirmly
stretchedaroundthespringcaseasmentioned
earlier.
Step4:Restoringtensionwireanditslock
-Oncethetensioninthetensionwireisset,take
theendofthewireandpassitthoroughthe
tensionwirestudatupperpartofpantographas
shownintheadjoiningdiagram.
-Makesurethatthespringcaseisheldfirmly
whiledoingthisotherwiseitwillunwind(because
ofthetensioninitsspring)andthealready
appliedtensionwillberemoved.
-Afterpassingthetensionwirethroughthe
tensionwirestudandrestorethetensionwire
lockatitsend.
-Nowloosenthespringcaselightly(butstillkeep
onholdingit).Asaresultthespringcasewillwind
itself(becauseofthetensioninitsspring)withthe
extralengthoftensionwirethatisleft.
-Mountthepantographontheslidingtrackand
restorethelightonthepantograph.Pressthe
lockingleverandmovepantographup-down3-4
timestocheckthetension.
