Step1:Openingtensionwirelock
-Unmountthestudiolightattachedtolightstudof
pantographforsafety.
-Openthelowertrackendstopoftheslidingtrack
andunmountthepantograph.
-Placethepantographfirmlyongroundinaway
thatthelightstudtouchedthegroundand
pantographstaysinuprightpositionasshownin
theadjoiningdiagram.
-Openthetensionwirestopwhichisattachedto
itsupperendneartensionwirestudasshownin
adjoiningdiagram.
Step2:Unwinding/replacingthetensionwire
NOTE:
-Oncethetensionwirelockisremoved,unwindit
fromaroundthespringcaseturnbyturn,untilthe
entiretensionwireisunwoundandonlyitsendis
attachedwiththespringcaseasshownhere.
-Incasethetensionwireisbrokenitwillhaveto
bereplacedwithanewwire.Sohereremovethe
wirecompletelyfromthespringcasebypassing
theentirewirethroughthesmallholeontheside
ofspringcase.
-Thiswire,called'Rearenginegearinner',is
easilyavailableatanylocalautomobileshop.
-Asshownheretakethenewwireandpassit
throughthesmallholeonthesideofspringcase
fromwheretheearlierwirewastakenout.
Careshouldbetakentomakesurethat
duringthisentireprocessthespringcaseshould
notbeturnedintoclockwisedirectionwhenthe
caseisbeingseenfromthesideofpantographas
shownintheadjoiningdiagram.
Unwindentirewireturnbyturnand
removeitbypassingthroughspringcasehole
Donotturnspringcaseinclockwisedirection
whenseenfromthisangle
Springcasehole
