-Nowthattheoldtensionwireisunwoundand
newtensionwireisattachedwiththespringcase
onlyatitsend,startwindingitaroundthespring
caseturnbyturnintheanti-clockwisedirection
whenthespringcaseisseenfromthesideof
pantographasshownintheadjoiningdiagram.
Keepthetensionwirefirmlystretched
aroundthespringcaseinthisprocess.Ifthe
tensionwireisleftloose,itmightgetcoiled.Inthat
case,entiretensionwirewouldhavetobe
openedandrewoundaroundthespringcase
again..
Step4:Restoringtensionwireanditslock
-Oncethetensionwireiscompletelywound
aroundthespringcaseadjustthetensionintothe
tensionwireasexplainedinthepreviouspages.
-Afterthetensioninthetensionwireisset,take
theendofthewireandpassitthoroughthe
tensionwirestudatupperpartofpantographas
shownintheadjoiningdiagram.
-Makesurethatthespringcaseisheldfirmly
whiledoingthisotherwiseitwillunwind(because
ofthetensioninitsspring)andthealready
appliedtensionwillberemoved.
-Afterpassingthetensionwirethroughthe
tensionwirestudandfastenthetensionwirelock
atitsend.
-Nowloosenthespringcaselightly(butstillkeep
onholdingit).Asaresultthespringcasewillwind
itself(becauseofthetensioninitsspring)withthe
extralengthoftensionwirethatisleft.
-Mountthepantographontheslidingtrackand
restorethelightonthepantograph.Pressthe
lockingleverandmovepantographup-down3-4
timestocheckthetension.
