CONTROL OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
I
IF AN ALARM OCCURS:
1.
Call the Fire Department.
2.
Evacuate area or building.
TO SILENCE THE ALARM SIGNALS BELLS, HORNS):
1.
Place 'Alarm Silence' (Red) in
LOWN
position. Note that 'Alarm
Silence' light on front panel turns on to indicate abnormal switch
position. DO NOT silence alarm until cause of system activation
is known.
2.
Silence trouble horn by placing 'Trouble Silence' switch (Yellow) in
DOWN position.
TO RESET SYSTEM AFTER A FIRE ALARM:
1.
After activating devices have been returned to normal or replaced,
press momentary (Black) 'Reset' switch to DOWN position.
--Red alarm light will go out.
--White trouble light will go out.
--Trouble horn will sound. Silence horn by returning 'Trouble
Silence' switch Yellow)
UP
to normal position.
--Return 'Alann hence7 switch (Red) UP to normal position. This
will extinguish 'Alarm Silenced' light (Amber).
TO SILENCE TROUBLE HORN:
1.
Silence trouble horn by placing 'Trouble Silence' switch (Yellow) in
DOWN position. White trouble light will remain on.
NOTE
:
Trouble signal will sound if there is a loss of AC power, or if the de-
tector loop is cut or broken.
Upon correction of trouble condition, control panel will automatically
reset itself and trouble light will go out. The horn will sound. Silence
trouble horn by returning 'Trouble Silence' Switch (Yellow) UP to
normal position.
