A. BOILING
Place the four disassembled parts in a pot when boiling point has been reached and allow to boil for 5 minutes. Remove
from water and allow parts to cool and air dry thoroughly before reassembly.
NOTE
:Placeasmallrack,onthebottomofthepottopreventplasticpartsfromcomingincontactwiththehotbottom.
B. MICROWAVE STEAM BAG
The four disassembled parts may be disinfected in the microwave
in a steam cleaning bag (i.e. Quick-Clean
†
MicroSteam
†
bag)
following the manufacturer’s instructions. Remove from bag and
allow parts to cool and air dry thoroughly before reassembly.

C. ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL (70%)
Thefourdisassembledpartsmaybesoakedin70%isopropyl
alcohol for 5 minutes. Rinse well and allow to air dry thoroughly
before reassembly.
D. HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (3%)
Thefourdisassembledpartsmaybesoakedin3%hydrogenperoxidefor30minutes.Rinsewellandallowtoairdry
thoroughly before reassembly.
E. BLEACH (Not recommended for high level disinfection)
Thefourdisassembledpartsmaybesoakedin1:50bleachtowatersolution(approximately1tablespoonbleachin
3¼cupswater)for3minutes.Rinsewellandallowtoairdrythoroughlybeforereassembling.Youmaysubstitutea
respiratoryequipmentdisinfectant(suchasMilton

DISPOSAL
The Aerobika
®
Oscillating PEP device can be disposed of with domestic waste unless this is prohibited by the disposal
regulations prevailing in your state.
