07. Error Codes
In case a suspicious banknote is detected or a
banknote fails to be identied, an error code is
displayed. Errors may occur if a genuine banknote is
bent, creased, old, dirty, washed, torn, glued, faded,
of if it has been exposed to aggressive environment,
defaced, or has unauthorized writings.
! Since new design banknotes are issued period-
ically, in case errors occur when such banknotes
are veried, a new version of rmware has to be
obtained at the Service Center.

properly in the loading tray.
2. Repeat the banknote verication.
If the error code is displayed again,
the banknote cannot be identied as
genuine.
Infrared mark location error

UV reection error
Combination of several errors specied above
Incorrect banknote capture or banknote jam Repeat the banknote verication
The banknote is jammed while processed in the forward/
backward mode
