What to do if my Monster Power HTS 950 AC Power Distribution is not receiving power?

  If your Monster Power AC Power Distribution isn't receiving power, first, ensure the PowerCenter switch is turned on and that the AC power plug is properly plugged into a grounded 120-volt wall outlet. Also, in some homes, the wall outlet might be controlled by a wall switch, so try turning on nearby light switches. If the unit is overloaded, press the PowerCenter Thermal Circuit Breaker button to reset it, waiting 10 minutes before trying again. If it continues to trip, move some components to another PowerCenter, as you might be drawing too much current.

  If your speakers are emitting a humming or buzzing noise when connected to your Monster Power AC Power Distribution, it could be due to the PowerCenter sharing AC power with improperly grounded equipment. To resolve this, connect your PowerCenter to a dedicated outlet. Alternatively, try unplugging components from the PowerCenter one at a time to see if the noise stops. If you find an improperly grounded component, attach a copper wire from its chassis to the nearest grounding point.
