The FDY
This is the user’s manual for the Moore Industries’ FDY
PC-Programmable Frequency Transmitter and
Display. Incredibly versatile, the FDY programs in less
than a minute to accept varying frequency signals from
AC or DC fl ow measurement devices such as
turbine meters and magnetic pick-up coils.
The FDY monitors the signal, outputting the selected
variable (frequency, period, high pulse width, low pulse
width or contact closure) both to its display and to a
4-20mA signal that is linear and input-scaleable. The
FDY features a large integral display that shows
real-time process status.
