How to resolve no three-phase voltage on my Mosa Welding System?
    • R
      robrienAug 15, 2025
If your Mosa Welding System shows no three-phase voltage at the socket(s) but the voltmeter reading is normal and there is voltage on other sockets, ensure the differential switch is turned on. If it is on and the problem persists, replace the differential switch.
  • J
    James Peterson DDSAug 18, 2025
What to do if my Mosa TS 400 PS has no single phase voltage one socket?
    • T
      Timothy PerezAug 18, 2025
If your Mosa Welding System displays no single-phase voltage at one socket, but the voltmeter reading is normal and there's voltage at other sockets, first, try pushing in the thermal switch, as it may have been triggered by excessive current. If the issue continues, replace the thermal switch.
  • K
    Kelly SimmonsAug 21, 2025
What to do if my Mosa TS 400 PS has no welding output and no auxiliary power output?
    • D
      Daniel ThorntonAug 21, 2025
If your Mosa Welding System shows no welding output and no auxiliary power, first, inspect the wiring for any shorts between cables or to the ground. If the wiring appears fine, discharge the condenser and then disconnect all wires to test it with an ohmmeter for shorts. If the condenser is working, disconnect all leads from the stator except those to the condenser box and check the alternator's output. Replace the stator if there's no output from the welding and auxiliary windings. If there is an output, reconnect the diode bridge and check for welding current; replace the bridge if there's no current. Finally, reconnect the auxiliary power leads one by one to identify any short circuits in the line.
  • L
    Lori ParkerAug 25, 2025
How to fix no welding current on my Mosa TS 400 PS Welding System when the auxiliary output is OK?
    • T
      Tyler CoxAug 25, 2025
If your Mosa Welding System isn't producing a welding current but the auxiliary output is working, verify the remote control switch is in the OFF position if no remote is connected, or in the ON position if a remote is connected. Check the welding potentiometer for continuity and connection integrity. Inspect the cables from the shunt to the card for any damage. If issues persist, try replacing the card or checking the diode bridge, specifically the diodes or controlled diodes.
  • M
    Mrs. Patricia PhamAug 27, 2025
Why does the engine of my Mosa TS 400 PS Welding System not start or stop immediately after startup?
    • E
      Edward SmithAug 27, 2025
If your Mosa Welding System's engine won't start or stops immediately after starting, first, check the battery's condition using the indicator: green means OK, black means recharge, and white means replace (do not open the battery). Next, remove any air from the fuel system. Finally, replace any blown engine protection thermic/fuse; if the problem continues, inspect the electrical circuit and address the issue. If needed, contact an authorized service center.
  • B
    Brittany ColemanAug 30, 2025
What to do if my Mosa Welding System has defect in welding, high and discontinued sparks?
    • Z
      Zachary ChurchAug 30, 2025
If your Mosa Welding System experiences defects in welding, producing high and discontinued sparks, check the continuity and condition of connections from the shunt and potentiometer to the card. Also, check the diodes and SCR in the diode bridge. If problems persist, consider replacing the card.
  • C
    craigwrightSep 2, 2025
Why does the engine stop on my Mosa Welding System due to intervention of engine protection?
    • D
      David JohnsonSep 2, 2025
If the engine of your Mosa Welding System stops due to the activation of engine protection, first check the oil level. If the oil level is normal, consider replacing any malfunctioning high temperature or oil pressure sensors. If issues persist, replace the engine protection or the stop device.
  • B
    blackbenjaminSep 5, 2025
What to do if my Mosa TS 400 PS Welding System has welding but non penetration?
    • M
      Mario CruzSep 5, 2025
If your Mosa Welding System is welding but not penetrating, check that the a.c. 48V arrives to the contactor of the base current. If the voltage is present, inspect the base current contactor's contacts to ensure they are in good condition and that the contactor shuts properly.
  • J
    Jared KimSep 8, 2025
Why does the voltmeter on my Mosa Welding System show no voltage or low voltage?
    • A
      alexandra09Sep 8, 2025
If the voltmeter on your Mosa Welding System shows no voltage or low voltage, but the actual voltage at the sockets is OK, replace the voltmeter.
  • M
    Maria CainSep 12, 2025
How to fix the battery if it is not charged on my Mosa TS 400 PS Welding System?
    • T
      Tony RodgersSep 12, 2025
To address a battery that is not charging on your Mosa Welding System, first, replace the defective battery charger alternator. If that doesn't resolve the issue, check the excitation system of the battery charger.
