Screw
the
cam
pu11er,
No.
100021,
onto
the cam.
Slowly
screw
in
the
center
screw
of the
pu11er
and
pull
the
cam
off
the
crankshaft
end
(fig.
2)
Remove
the
stator
plate
self
retaining
nuts
(Bmm
wrench)
and
remove
the
conical
spring
washers
(fig
.
2).
Remove
the
stator
p1ate,
the
paper
gasket
and
the
rubber
gasket
(fig.
3).
REFITTING:
Fjt the
paper gasket
and
rubber
gasket.
After
test'ing
or
stator
plate
replacement,
position
the
stator
on
the
two
studs.
Drive
fully
home on
crankcase.
Fit the
four
conical
spring
washers
and
the
two
self
retaining
nuts.
Screw
on
gradua'l
]y and
lock
the
self
retain'ing
nuts
(Bnrm
wrench;
(fi9.
2).
Adjust
ignition
t'iming
and
breaker
point
gap
as
described
on
the
follow-
ing
page.
