Prerequisites:
Inordertoshareallkeysandmacros,thetargetKVLmustsupportthesamealgorithmsasthesourceKVL.
•Example1:ThesourceKVLisequippedwithDESandDVP-XL,andthereisatleastonekeydenedfor
eachalgorithm.ThetargetKVLmustalsobeequippedwithDESandDVP-XL.
•Example2:ThesourceKVLisequippedwithAES,DES,andDVP-XL,buttherearekeysdenedonly
forAES.ThetargetKVLmustalsobeequippedwithatleastAES.
ProcedureSteps
1SelectLoadkeys&macrosontheKVLmainscreen.
2ConnectthetargetKVLusingtheKVLtoKVLcable.(See1.4.4.2ConnectingTwoKVLUnits,page1-15.)
Forthesharingoperationtowork,thetargetKVLmusthavethesharingfunctionturnedonandmust
beonitsmainscreen.
3SelectLoadalltoAnotherKVL.
Stepresult:Theconrmationscreenappears.

Stepresult:Aprogressanimationappears,indicatingthatthekeysandmacrosarebeingshared.Whenthe
operationhascompletedsuccessfully,aconrmationscreenappearsandacompletedtoneisplayed.

screenstoreturntotheKVLmainscreen.
