8.7 Remote access
You can operate your answering machine from any DTMF phone by calling
your product and entering a 4 digit security PIN code.
1. Dial your telephone number. When you hear your outgoing message,
press *.
2. Enter your 4-digit PIN (default setting 0000) you will hear a confirmation
beep. Use the keypad to operate the answering machine.
Press 1 to play new messages. Press 5 to turn the answering machine
on or off.
Press 2 to play all messages. Press 6 to play the next message.
Press 3 to delete the current message. Press 8 to play the outgoing message.
Press 4 to play the previous message. Press 9 to record the outgoing
message.
8.8 Remote access on/o and change the security code
1. Press the left O key, scroll Q to Answ. machine .
2. Press the left O key, scroll Q to Remote access .
3. Press the left O key, scroll P or Q to select Activate , Deactivate or Security
code . Press the left O key to confirm.
4. If you choose Security code , press the left O key, then go to step 5 if this is
the first time you change it. Otherwise, enter the old code.
5. Press the left O key, enter the new security code.
6. Press the left O key, re-enter the new security code.
7. Press the left O key to confirm.
8.9 Setting the answering machine language
1. Press the left O key, scroll Q to Answ. machine .
2. Press the left O key, scroll Q to TAM language .
3. Press the left O key, scroll P or Q to select the language you want.
4. Press the left O key to confirm.
