30 Advanced settings

5. Enter the PIN, then press the left O key or press the right O key to delete
the PIN.
6.7 Deregister a handset
Use your base to deregister a handset.
1. Press the left O key, scroll Q to
Advanced set

2. Press the left O key, scroll Q to
Deregister
.
3. Press the left O key, enter the 4 digit master PIN (default = 0000).
4. Press the left O key, the display shows the first registered handset number.
5. Scroll P or Q to select the handset you want to deregister.
6. Press the left O key.
Waiting...
is displayed on the base screen. The handset
is deregistered.
6.8 Restore default settings
You can restore your C42 to its default (original) settings. All the handsets that
are registered to the base will be retained.
Important
Resetting your phone will restore all handset and base settings to its default
settings but Redial, Calls lists and Phonebook numbers will be retained.

4. Press the left O key to confirm.
