6.5 Recall mode
Depending on your country and network operator, your D4 has the recall time set as 600
ms (
RECALL 2 ). It is unlikely that you need to change this setting unless advised to do so.
1. Press
m, scroll d to SETUP and press m.
2. Scroll
d to RECALL and press m.
3. Press
u or d to select RECALL 1 (short flash time) or RECALL 2 (long flash time) and
press
m to conrm.
6.6 Restore default settings
You can restore your D4 to its default (original) settings.
All the handsets that are registered to the base will be retained.
IMPORTANT
Resetting your phone to its default settings will delete all entries in the Phonebook and
Calls list. All handset and base settings will also be reset.
1. Press
m, scroll d to SETUP and press m.
2. Scroll
d to DEFAULT and press m.
3. Enter the 4 digit PIN code (default = 0000) and press
m. The display shows CONFIRM

4. Press
m to conrm or b to return to the previous menu. Your D4 will restart
automatically.
6.7 Emergency default
If you have lost your PIN code, you can still restore your D4 to its default settings.
1. Remove the batteries from the handset.
2. Press and hold
s while replacing the batteries. The display shows DEFAULT.
3. Press m to conrm. Your D4 will restart automatically.
6.8 Eco mode
Your D4 oers ECO mode function which reduces the transmitted power and energy
consumption when switched on. This feature is set to OFF by default.
To switch Eco mode on:
1. Press
m, scroll d to SETUP and press m.
2. Scroll
d to ECO MODE and press m.
3. Press
u or d to select ON or OFF and press m to conrm.
