Locking the Keypad
To keep you from accidentally changing how your radio works, you can lock the
keypad. When the keypad is locked, the
G, B, and C buttons do not work. You will
not be able to change the call tone, channel, or interference eliminator code
.
Do This Result
1. Press and hold G for 3
seconds.
A
O appears on the display, telling you the
keypad is locked.
2. To unlock, press and
hold
Gfor 3 seconds.
The
O disappears, telling you the keypad is
unlocked.
