Search your apps, contacts, files, places, and the web.
At the top of the home screen, tap for a text
search, or for voice search.
• Use the touchscreen keyboard to enter search text.
Google™ shows suggestions as you type. Tap a
suggestion to search for it, or tap to search for the
text you entered. To close the touchscreen keyboard,
tap .
• To perform a voice search from the search window,
just say “Google,” then say what you want to search
for.

Google Now™
Google Now uses your
search history, location
history, and Google™
services to provide the
information you need,
when you need it. The
service is always
working for you in the
background—you don’t
have to ask for
anything. Google
automatically notifies
you when new
information is available.
To turn Google Now
on/off or learn more
about the service,
tap at the top of the home screen to open the
search window, then tap Menu >
Settings
>
Google
Now
.
To show the Google Now screen, tap and hold
Home , and flick up to the Google icon .
