Typing on Your Phone
Enter Text
You use the Google touchscreen keyboard to
enter text on your phone. The keyboard
appears automatically onscreen when you
touch a text entry field.
Google Keyboard Tips

Touch ABC or ?123 to change entry type.

Suggested words will appear above the
keyboard as you type. Touch a word to enter it
and move on to the next word.

Enter a word by tracing a continuous path
through the letters.
Google Voice Typing
Use your voice to enter text instead of typing.
1. From any screen where you can enter text,
touch the input field to reveal the keyboard.
2. Touch or and speak clearly.
Your Input Method and Keyboard Settings
You can customize your input method and
keyboard settings to suit your needs:

Tap
Apps
> Settings > Language & input,
and tap the Settings icon
next to any of the
keyboard options (Google Keyboard or
Google voice typing).
