Swipe 󶍔ngerprint for noti󶍔cations
You can set the 󶍔ngerprint sensor to open your noti󶍔cations and quick settings when you swipe it.
Set it up
1. Go to Settings > System > Gestures.
2.
Touch Swipe 󶍔ngerprint for noti󶍔cations and turn it on .
Use it
Swipe down on the 󶍔ngerprint sensor:
Swipe once to view noti󶍔cations.
Swipe again to view quick settings.
What you can do with noti󶍔cations
Respond from a noti󶍔cation
Many noti󶍔cations include actions at the bottom that let you complete common tasks without opening the
full app. If you have several noti󶍔cations, these actions are hidden. When you see , touch it to reveal
actions.
Open the app that sent the noti󶍔cation
Swipe down from the top of the screen and touch the noti󶍔cation to open the app. From your lock screen,
touch the noti󶍔cation twice and enter your PIN, pattern, or password to unlock your screen and open the app.
Snooze a noti󶍔cation
Swipe left or right slowly. Then touch and select a duration to snooze noti󶍔cations. To snooze
noti󶍔cations, 󶍔rst turn on snoozing.
Dismiss a noti󶍔cation
Swipe it sideways. Some noti󶍔cations, like voicemails, require an action and cannot be dismissed.
Dismiss all noti󶍔cations
Swipe to the end of your noti󶍔cations and touch Clear all.
Customize your noti󶍔cations
Use Do Not Disturb to silence all noti󶍔cations when you don’t want interruptions.
Touch & hold a noti󶍔cation to customize that app's noti󶍔cations. Then you can:
Stop all noti󶍔cations from that app.
Change the app's noti󶍔cations to be Silent instead of Alerting.
