Removing and Installing the UC Flex Assembly (applicable to
MTP850 S and MTP850 FuG only)
Recommended tools: Tweezers or narrow blade knife
To remove the UC Flex Assembly from the unit
1. Remove the UC Escutcheon from the unit. Refer to “Removing and Installing
the UC Escutcheon (applicable to MTP850 S and MTP850 FuG only)” on
page page 6-27. The removed UC Escutcheon is to be disposed.
2. Carefully insert the tweezers or knife through the front housing slot and under
the flex.
3. Using the tweezers or knife, gently pry the flex loose. Careful handling is
required to avoid causing cosmetic defect to the surrounding components.
4. Gently guide the flex out.
