1. Introduction
To charge the scanner, connect it to a host PC with the supplied USB cable or optional charging cradle.
Charge time is approximately 3 hours for a fully discharged battery
To test battery status, hold scan (+) for 15 seconds:
Flashing green LED: full charge
Flashing amber LED: < 8 hours operating time
Flashing red LED: < 1 hour operating time
2. Scanning
2 modes of operation:
Batch – disconnected from a host computer, stores scanned barcodes on device with a date/timestamp
Bluetooth* – communicates with host computer via Bluetooth connection, emulates a keyboard
Aim the scanner at the bar code, press the scan (+) button. Scanner beeps once and LED turns green to
indicate a successful scan.
