  Here are a few things you can try: * Turn your device off and on, then try pairing again. Sometimes, removing and reinstalling the device's battery helps. * Remove all previous pairings by pressing and holding the red (END) button for 6 seconds or longer, then try pairing again. * If you're using a Motorola phone, use the 'Look For Devices' menu item instead of 'Find me' for pairing. * Ensure the car kit isn't in Bluetooth search mode (red/blue flashing). If so, press the MFB button for 2-6 seconds to disable search mode (blue flashing), then try pairing again.

  Check the location and placement of your car kit's microphone. It's recommended to mount it in the front center of the car, no more than 16 inches (40 cm) from the driver's head. Exterior wind noise can easily be transmitted if it's near a window or vent.

  Here are a few reasons why voice dialing might not work: * You may not have a 'voice tag' set up for the number in your phone. Refer to your device's manual to set up voice dialing. * Background noise may be interfering. Relocate the microphone to a quieter place, move it closer to the driver, ask passengers to be quiet, and minimize wind noise. * Wait until the beep has ended before speaking after the phone prompts you. Avoid speaking over the beep.

  While the car kit can connect up to two devices, they can't be of the same service type. You can connect one phone and one music device, but not two phones or two music devices. Some phones have both capabilities, in which case only one physical device will connect.

  Certain Bluetooth music adapters can interrupt the establishment of a second Bluetooth link. If this occurs, reconnect the phone to the car kit using the phone’s connection menu/commands. Alternatively, you can press and hold the green (SEND) button for 2-6 seconds to establish a voice dial session in order to force a phone connect. Once connected, press the red (END) button to end the voice dialing session. Some phones require you to reconnect the phone to the car kit from the phone's menu after the Bluetooth link has been interrupted.

  Some Bluetooth music adapters can interrupt the pairing process, preventing other devices from pairing. If this happens, turn off the music adapter, pair the next Bluetooth device, and then turn the music adapter back on.
