iTAP® mode
iTAP software provides a predictive text entry
method that combines your key presses into
common words.
When you enter three or more letters in a
row, your phone may guess the rest of the
word. For example, if you enter
prog
, your
phone might show:
If you want a different word (such as
progress), continue pressing keys to enter the
remaining letters.
•
Scroll down to view other possible
combinations, and select the one you
want.
•
Press
S
right to enter the highlighted
combination when it spells a word. A
space is inserted automatically after
the word.
•
To enter numbers quickly, press and
hold a number key to temporarily
switch to numeric mode. Press the
number keys to enter the numbers you
want.
•
Press
1
to enter punctuation or other
characters.
