In order to sasfy applicable standards, the
FB fan must be fied with a contactor and
overcurrent protecon.
To choose the correct contactor, see page 6.
If technical regulang apparatus (e.g.
frequency converter) is used, the
manufacturer's recommendaons for avoiding
interference must be observed. E.g. EMC,
protecve earth, cable length, cable shielding,
etc..
The one phase motor is equipped with double
capacitors. When the fan is not operang in full
running speed, i.e. during the start-up and shut down
process, the motor produces a mechanical sound,
deriving from the switch between the two capacitors.
This is a normal sound and it is not harmful for the
motor.
Troubleshoong
Always go through the troubleshoong schedule
before contacng Movex. This schedule contains
informaon that makes it easy to idenfy faults that
are simple to recfy.
Set external safety switch in the off posion.
The fan can start up without warning following
a power outage
Only qualified personnel may perform servicing
work on the fan.
