CPU Internal Cache
The default value is Enabled.
Enabled (default) Enable cache
Disabled Disable cache
Note: The internal cache is built in the processor.
External Cache
Choose Enabled or Disabled. This option enables the level 2 cache
memory.
CPU L2 Cache ECC Checking
Choose Enabled or Disabled. This option enables the level 2 cache
memory ECC(error check correction). Using 66MHz CPU BUS Pentium
®
II
processor, set to Enabled or Disabled. Using 100MHz CPU BUS Pentium
®
II
processor, always set to Enabled. For Celeron
TM
processor w/o Cache,
always set to Disabled.
Processor Number Feature
This item is specifically for Pentium
®
III CPU. If set to Enabled,
you can check the Processor Number of the Pentium III
®
CPU through the
utility. The default setting is Enabled.
Quick Power On Self Test
This category speeds up Power On Self Test (POST) after you
power on the computer. If this is set to Enabled, BIOS will shorten or skip
some check items during POST.
