BIOS Password Clear: JPWD1
The BIOS password protects the BIOS from undesired changes. If you need to clear
the BIOS password, use the following steps:
1. Turn off the PC and unplug the power cord.
2. Remove the JPWD1 jumper cap.
3. Connect the power cord and turn on the PC.
4. Enter BIOS Setup Menu, you will find the previous password is cleared.
5.Turn off the PC and unplug the power cord.
6. Replace the JPWD1 jumper cap.
7. Turn on the PC and set a new password if necessary.

BIOS Flash Write Protection: JWP1
This jumper is used to enable/disable the BIOS flash. When you intend to update the
BIOS code, uncap this jumper first. Under normal operation, we suggest that you
disable the BIOS flash by capping the JWP1 jumper to protect the system BIOS from
virus infection.
