BIOS Setup
Extra IDE/ RAID Controller (the Silicon image RAID controller for SATA7 &
SATA 8 only)
This item allows you to enable/disable the onboard extra IDE/ RAID controller.
RAID Mode
This item is used to select RAID mode for the hardware silicon image RAID controller.
Default option is “RAID1 Mode”.Settings are:
[RAID1]The RAID1 mode enables SATA7 & SATA8 mirroring automatic
[RAID0]The RAID0 mode enables SATA7 & SATA8 striping automatic
[JBOD]The JBOD (Just Bunch of Disks) enables SATA7 / SATA8 to be seen
separately as one drive.
HD Audio Controller
This setting is used to enable/disable the onboard audio controller.
On-Chip ATA Devices (for ICH9R)
Press <Enter> to enter the sub-menu and the following screen appears:
PCI IDE BusMaster
This item allows you to enable/ disable BIOS to used PCI busmastering for
reading/ writing to IDE drives.
On-Chip SATA Controller
These items allow users to enable or disable the SATA controller.
SATA Mode
This item allows you to configure SATA mode. Setting options: [RAID], [AHCI] or
[IDE].
I/O Device
Press <Enter> to enter the sub-menu and the following screen appears:
COM Port 1
Select an address and corresponding interrupt for the first serial port.
