Why MTD 02M Lawn Mower engine fails to start?

  If your MTD Lawn Mower engine won't start, it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure that the blade control is engaged. Check if the spark plug boot is disconnected and connect it. If the fuel tank is empty or contains stale fuel, refill it with clean, fresh gasoline. If your engine is equipped with a primer, prime it as instructed in the Operation section. Inspect the spark plug; clean, adjust the gap, or replace it if necessary. Also, check for a blocked fuel line and clean it. Lastly, if the engine is flooded, wait a few minutes before attempting to restart it, and avoid priming it this time.
