Remove
the
belt
guard
on
the
PTO
Spindle
and
remove
the
old
belts.

Reassemble
in
reverse
order
with
two
matched
belts.
Adjust
the
lower
belt
guard
so
It
is
about
1/8"
away
from
the
belts
when
the
PTO
Lever
is
engaged.
I
NOTE
I
A
piece
of
cardboard
can
be
used
as
a
feeler
gauge
to
adjust
the
lower
belt
guard.
TRANSMISSION
BELT
ADJUSTMENT—The
tension
of
the
belt
is
increased
by
UNSCREWING
the
leveler
screw
until
you
obtain
a
1
/2"
deflection
on
the
belt
when
you
apply
10
pounds
of
force
midway
between
the
transmission
pulley
and
the
pulley.
Lock
leveler
in
place
by
tightening
the
lock
nut.
REMOVAL—Screw
the
leveler
screw
all
the
way
in
until
the
Idler
is
loose
and
remove
the
belt.
