If the overload protection switch pops out shortly after resetting:
Release the motor/blade control handle and do NOT restart 1.
the mower for at least 15 minutes to allow the electric
motor extra time to cool.
Press the overload protection switch inward to reset.2.
Restart unit.3.
NOTE: If the overload protection switch pops out
repeatedly during operation or will not remain in when
attempting to reset, contact an authorized service center
to arrange for repair.
Replacing Trail Shield
WARNING: Never operate mower unless the trail
shield is in place and working. Never operate mower
with damaged safety devices. Failure to do so, can
result in personal injury.
The trail shield is subject to wear and damage which could
expose moving parts or allow objects to be thrown. For safety
protection, frequently check the trail shield and replace
immediately with original equipment manufacturer’s (OEM) part
only, listed in this manual.
To remove trail shield, remove screws holding trail shield in 1.
place.
Press shield in on either side to remove from hole. 2.
See Fig. 6-3.
Remove shield from opposite hole and replace with new 3.
shield in the opposite order and manner of removal.
