  If your MTD Snow Blower fails to discharge snow, it could be due to a clogged chute assembly, a foreign object lodged in the auger, an issue with the auger control cable, a loose or damaged auger belt or sheared shear pins. Here's what to do: 1. Stop the engine immediately and disconnect the spark plug wire, then clean the chute assembly and the inside of the auger housing. 2. If there is a foreign object, stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug wire, then remove the object from the auger. 3. Replace any sheared shear pins with new ones.
