Ammeter
Theammetermeasuresthe electricaloutputof the
engine'schargingsystem.Undernormaloperating
conditions,withengineatfullthrottle,theammeter
shouldindicatepositivecharge. SeeFigure11.
Systems Indicator Monitor (if
Equipped)
LCD
Locatedinthecenterofthetractor'sconsole,the
systemsindicatormonitorrecords,anddisplays on its
LCD,hoursof tractoroperationwheneverthe ignition
keyisrotatedoutoftheSTOPposition.
TheIndicatorMonitorwill also remindthe operatorof
maintenanceintervalsfor changingthe engineoil. The
LCDwillalternatelyflashthe recordedhours,"CHG"and
"OIL"for fiveminutes,afterevery50 hoursof recorded
operationelapse.The maintenanceintervallastsfor
twohours(from50-52,100-102,150-152,etc.).The
LCDwillalsoflashasdescribedabovefor fiveminutes
everytimethetractor'senginehasbeenstartedduring
thismaintenanceinterval.Beforethe intervalexpires,
changethe crankcaseoil levelas instructedin this
Operator'sManual.
Onmodelsequippedwitha manualPTO(BladeEngage),
thePTO(BladeEngage)leveris locatedontheleft sideof
thedashboardnextto the steeringwheel.Movethe PTO
(BladeEngage)leverforwardtoengagethepowerto the
cuttingdeckor other(separatelyavailable)attachments;
movethePTO(BladeEngage)leverrearwardto disen-
gagethepowerto the attachments.
NOTE:ThePTO(BladeEngage)levermust beinthe

Seat Adjustment Lever (If Equipped)
Toadjusttheseatforwardorbackwardon unitsequipped
witha quick-adjustseat,slidethe seatadjustmentlever
totheleftand repositionthe seatto the desiredposition.
Oncea comfortablepositionis found,releasethe seat
adjustmentleverto lockthe seatinplace.Refertothe
AdjustingYourLawnTractorsectiond this manualfor
moredetailedinstructionson all seatadjustments.
Battery Deck Lift Lever
It isnormalfortheBatterylightto illuminatewhilethe Foundon yourtractor'srightfender,the decklift leveris
engineiscrankingduringstart-up,but ifit illuminate's usedto changethe heightof the cuttingdeck.Touse,
duringoperation,while the engine is running, the movethelevertotheleft,then placeinthe notchbest
batteryisinneedofa chargeorthe engine'scharging suitedfor yourapplication.
