8. Remove the throttle valve assembly.
See Figure 5.22.
9. The orifice can also be seen from the pump side of
the throttle housing. See Figure 5.23.
10. The fuel pump in the carburetor is driven by vacuum
pulses in the intake port. The impulse port from the
spacer lets the vacuum pulses into the pump cam-
ber. See Figure 5.24.
11. Make sure this port is clean and free of debris.
