  If your MTI Indoor Furnishing chair isn't working, start by checking the power cord to ensure it's securely plugged in at both ends. Then, test the facility's power receptacle with another device of the same voltage to rule out any issues with the outlet. Also, verify the facility circuit breaker to ensure it hasn't tripped. Confirm that the facility supply voltage matches the specifications on the chair's serial number/product tag. Check the fuses to see if they are burnt and replace them if needed. Finally, make sure all controls are securely connected to the chair.

  If the back, tilt, or lift functions on your MTI Indoor Furnishing chair are not working, the circuit board may have disabled the motor(s). Try resetting the circuit board by unplugging the chair from power, waiting one minute, and then plugging it back in. Note that the back button on the 421 model chairs is non-functional.
