What to do if there is no fuel at the carburetor in my MULTIQUIP Trowels?
    • S
      Stephanie TranAug 17, 2025
If there's no fuel at the carburetor of your MULTIQUIP Trowels, start by checking if there's fuel in the fuel tank and fill it with the correct type of fuel if needed. Ensure the fuel cock opens properly; apply lubricant to loosen the lever or replace it if necessary. A clogged fuel filter or fuel lines could also be the issue, so replace the fuel filter. Inspect the fuel tank cap breather hole for clogs and clean or replace the cap. Lastly, check for air in the fuel line and bleed the line.

Why MULTIQUIP Trowels is difficult to start with fuel, spark and normal compression?
    • L
      Lauren GarciaAug 23, 2025
If your MULTIQUIP Trowels is difficult to start even though fuel is available, there's a spark, and compression is normal, consider these possibilities: The wrong fuel type may be in use, requiring you to flush the fuel system and replace it with the correct fuel. There might be water or dust in the fuel system, so flush it out. A dirty air cleaner can also cause this issue; clean or replace it. Lastly, check if the choke is open and close it.

How to fix a MULTIQUIP B Series Trowels that's hard to start with fuel and spark?
    • M
      Mark HullAug 29, 2025
If your MULTIQUIP Trowels is hard to start despite having fuel and a spark, the ON/OFF switch might be shorted, so check the switch wiring and replace the switch if necessary. The ignition coil could be defective, requiring replacement. Ensure the spark gap is correct and clean the points if they are dirty. A worn or short-circuiting condenser can also cause this, so replace the condenser. Finally, check for broken or short-circuiting spark plug wiring and replace it if defective.

What to do if my MULTIQUIP B Series has low compression and is hard to start?
    • R
      reynoldsshaneSep 4, 2025
If your MULTIQUIP Trowels is difficult to start and has low compression, even with fuel and spark, the suction/exhaust valve might be stuck or protruded, requiring you to reseat the valves. Worn piston rings or cylinders could also be the problem, so replace the piston rings or the piston. Ensure the cylinder head and spark plug are properly tightened by torquing the cylinder head bolts and spark plug. Damaged head or spark plug gaskets should be replaced.

Why is my MULTIQUIP Trowels difficult to start with fuel but no spark?
    • K
      Katherine CoxNov 10, 2025
If your MULTIQUIP Trowels is difficult to start despite having fuel but no spark at the spark plug, several issues could be the cause. The spark plug might have bridging or carbon deposits, requiring you to check the gap, insulation, or clean/replace the spark plug. A short circuit due to deficient spark plug insulation is also possible, so inspect the insulation and replace if worn. Ensure the spark plug gap is properly set. If the spark plug is red, check the transistor ignition unit. If it's bluish white, there may be insufficient compression (repair or replace the engine), injected air leaking (correct the leak), or clogged carburetor jets (clean the carburetor). If there's no spark at the tip, the transistor ignition unit might be broken (replace it), the voltage cord could be cracked...
