8 Advanced Settings
8.1 Probe Sensitivity
The MultiTrode Probe is a conductive level sensing device that relies on
conductivity through the liquid to earth in order to detect level. For most
common applications the default probe sensitivity setting of 20kohms will work
correctly.
The sensitivity can be changed using dip switches 7 and 8 if the sensitivity
needs adjustment to allow for different types of liquid.

ON OFF 4 kohm
OFF ON 20 kohm

8.2 Pump and Alarm Activation Delays
Activation delays are used to prevent spurious pump starts and level alarms.
The delay allows the level device to positively detect the liquid before operating
the pump or an alarm.
Pump delays are set using DIP Switch 3.
Alarm Delays are set using DIP Switch 5.
There are 2 delay periods:
0.5 sec (DIP Switch OFF)
10 sec (DIP Switch ON)
