The MFX-C2700 is more than just a color printing solution. With the ability to electronically capture hardcopy documents
and deliver them to e-mail addresses, PC locations, fax terminals and USB drives, the MFX-C2700 is a key component in the
document lifecycle.
E-mail
• Deliver documents directly to an e-mail inbox to reduce
paper consumption.
• Utilize the intuitive QWERTY keypad to customize the file
name (document being scanned), subject line (the subject
that will appear in the e-mail inbox) and text message
(body of the e-mail). Users can also enter their e-mail
address in the “Reply To:” field to enable the recipient to
directly respond to the sender.
• Manually enter e-mail addresses using the QWERTY
keypad, or select a location from the e-mail address book.
The address book can contain up to 100 e-mail contacts.
• Supports LDAP directory look-up.
PC
• Deliver documents to a PC folder to create digital archives.
• Utilize the intuitive QWERTY keypad to customize the file
name (document being scanned).
• Deliver documents to a PC folder at the touch of a button
utilizing scan profiles.
• Scan documents to an FTP location to securely share
documents with multiple users.
Fax
• 33.6 Kbps fax modem transmits documents at up to
3 seconds-per-page.
• Store up to 100 fax numbers in the address book for
instant recall. 16 locations can be selected directly from the
control panel.
• Quickly send documents from a PC using the fax driver.
• Route inbound fax documents to an e-mail address to reduce
paper consumption, increase document security and receive
critical communication when out-of-the-office.
• Generate a confirmation report to show whether a fax
transmission was successful.
• T.37 Internet Faxing is supported.
USB
• Quickly and securely digitize documents,
without a PC, by capturing images directly
onto a USB flash drive via the front-
mounted USB port.
• Documents can be printed directly from
a USB flash drive. Supported file formats
include PDF, JPEG, TIFF and PRN.
