4. Operations
4.1 Manual Boost
The load can be ‘boosted’ to full power for a short period regardless of the
amount of available export power, this function is called Manual Boost and is
activated from the main screen. The boost can be cancelled at any time.
To activate;
1. From the main screen, press (+).
2. Select “Boost to Max.” or set a time duration.
3. The boost duration may be altered by pressing the (↑) or (↓) arrows during
the boost.
To cancel:
1. Press the (+) button twice.
4.2 Boost Timer
To set;
1. From the main screen, press ( ) to enter the Main Menu.
2. Select Boost Timer, then press (+).
3. Use the (↑) or (↓) arrow buttons to highlight the time slot you wish to
change.
4. Alter the start hour with the (↑) or (↓) arrow buttons and then press (+) to
move to minutes.
5. Edit the duration in the same way and then press (+) again to edit the
days of the week you want the boost to be active for; each day of the week
and can be toggled on/off with (↑) or (↓) arrow buttons, press (+) to go to
the next day. Pressing (+) on the last day (Sunday) will conrm the boost
time slot and the whole line will be highlighted again.
6. Press ( ) to exit the BOOST TIMER screen.
5. Testing
Before leaving site, it is strongly recommended to perform a several checks
to ensure that the sensors and heaters have been correctly installed and are
functional.
1. Test the heater by activating a manual boost by pressing (+) button, twice.
2. Check the power reading on the screen for the load corresponds to the
load rating or a previously set limit.
3. Cancel the boost by pressing the ( ) button twice during the boost.

8. Routine Maintenance & Cleaning
We recommend a routine observation of the eddi+. This should be carried out
by a competent person and its main aim is to look for any signs of damage and
abnormalities. This is a visual inspection only and should not entail removing
cover or dismantling the eddi+ in any way.

Check for aging and/or damaged cables
