Why Myson Heater fan not working?
    • N
      Nicholas BassAug 10, 2025
The Myson Heater fan might not be working because the unit is switched off. Turn it on. Alternatively, the set temperature might have been reached, so try increasing it. It could also be that the unit isn't switched on at the breaker panel; switch it on. A tripped breaker at the panel could also be the reason; check the wiring and reset the breaker. Another possibility is that the unit isolating valves are shut; open them. If it is a Heater model, the water temperature reaching the fan convector might be below 110°F, so check the boiler to ensure it is on and set to high with the central heating pump running; you can also check the fan by switching to manual and turning up the boiler thermostat. Poor water flow can also cause this issue; vent air from the heating system.

How to fix Myson Heater with no fan?

If the fan in your Myson Heater isn't working, the unit might be switched off, so turn it on. If the set temperature has been reached, increase the temperature setting. Check that the unit is switched on at the breaker panel; if not, switch it on. A tripped breaker could also be the cause; check the wiring and reset it. Ensure the unit isolating valves are open. For Heater models, if the water temperature is too low (below 110°F), check that the boiler is on, set to high, and the central heating pump is running; you can also switch to manual fan setting and turn up the boiler thermostat to test the fan. Lastly, poor water flow can prevent the fan from working; vent air from the heating system.

What to do if my Myson Heater has no fan?
    • C
      Cynthia SparksAug 21, 2025
If the Myson Heater fan isn't running, first, ensure the unit is turned on. If it is on, the temperature setting may have been reached; try increasing the temperature set point. Check that the unit is switched on at the breaker panel. Also, check the breaker at the panel; if tripped, examine the wiring and reset the breaker. Make sure the unit's isolating valves are open. For Heater models, if the water temperature is below 110°F, verify the boiler is on, set to high, and the central heating pump is running; you can also check the fan by switching to manual fan setting and turning up the boiler thermostat. Lastly, poor water flow can cause this issue, so vent any air from the heating system.

What to do if Myson 7-4 Heating System has poor heating performance?
    • J
      John FletcherAug 26, 2025
If your Myson Heating System shows poor heating performance or cycles on the water sensor, there are several potential causes. First, ensure the unit is switched on, both at the unit itself and at the fused spur. If a fuse is blown at the fused spur, replace it. Also, check that the isolating valves are open. If the water temperature reaching the fan convector is below 32°C (Heater model only), inspect the boiler settings: ensure the programmer and boiler are on and set to high, with the central heating pump running. You can check the fan convector by switching to manual fan setting and turning up the boiler thermostat. Finally, poor water flow can cause this issue; vent air from the heating system. Remember, you can check the operation of the fan convector by switching to manual setting.

Why is my Myson 7-4 Heating System's heating performance poor?
    • A
      Andrea BakerAug 30, 2025
There are a couple of reasons why your Myson Heating System might have poor heating performance. One potential cause is that the unit is incorrectly sized for the heat loss of the room (Heater model only). Another reason could be that the boiler thermostat is set too low.

What causes lack of flow to fan convector in Myson Heating System?
    • A
      Ann TaylorSep 4, 2025
If you're experiencing a lack of flow to the fan convector in your Myson Heating System (Heater model only), several factors could be responsible. The pump might be set on a low setting. The isolating valves might not be fully open. The system might be incorrectly balanced, starving the unit of hot water flow. Finally, the pipe sizing to the unit might be too small.
