POWER SUPPLY

AC Adapter

The scale can be powered by an AC adaptor- output is DC 5V 300mA. Use the correct adapter.

Batteries

Low batteries cause malfunction. Use good quality batteries & replace them often. Remove if storing for >14 days.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

Weighing Procedures

Turn on the scale, select unit (g, kg, oz, lb, lb:oz), place object, and read stable weight.

Tare

Eliminates container weight. Place container, press TARE, add items. Press TARE again to zero.

CALIBRATION

May be needed for setup, altitude changes, or mechanical deviations. Requires a 5kg weight.

WEIGHT RESPONSE SPEED & AUTO OFF SETTINGS

Adjust scale response speed (nb0-nb2) and auto-off timer (OFF 0, OFF 1, OFF 2).

FEATURES

Power Up Segment Test

The scale performs a quick diagnostic, displaying a countdown on startup.

Overload indicator

Display shows '-------' indicating overload. Remove load immediately to prevent damage.

Negative Value

Tared value shown as negative number when weight removed. Press TARE to re-zero.

Auto off

An automatic shut off feature is provided to conserve battery power.

Hold

Press [HOLD] to freeze current weight reading. Press [HOLD] again to cancel.

Back light

Switch on the back of the scale enables or disables the backlight.

Beep Feature

A switch on the back enables or disables the beep feature.

Removable Protective LCD Cover

Clear cover protects LCD. Ensure it doesn't touch tray underside for accurate readings.

BAKERS PERCENTAGE WEIGHING FEATURE

How to use

Calculate recipe ingredients in percentages, with flour as 100%. Add ingredients sequentially.
