2. Connection of 75-Ohm Coaxial Cable
(1) Prepare the coaxial cable as shown in Fig.
1.
(2) Spread the cover in the direction of the
arrows to release the lock and pull the
cover off. (Fig. 2)
(3) Remove the wire from clamp A and place it
to the outside of partition B, using
needilenose pliers or the like. Then insert
the center conductor of the coaxial cable
into clamp A, squeeze claws C and D with
the pliers to fasten the shield braid and
insulation, and replace the cover. (Refer to
Fig. 3.)
2. Anschlu8 von 75-Ohm-Koaxialkabel
(1) Bereiten Sie das Koaxialkabel so vor, wie in
Abbildung 1 gezeigt.
(2) Spreizen Sie den Stecker in Richtung der
Pfeile und ziehen Sie die Steckerplatte
heraus. (Abb. 2)
(3) Entfernen Sie mit einer Flachzange 0.4. den
Draht von Klemme A und plazieren Sie ihn
auf der AuBenseite der Trennwand B.
Filhren Sie dann den Mittelleiter des
Koaxialkabels in Klemme A ein. Driicken
Sie die Backen C und D mit der Flachzange
zusammen, so daB der Flechtmante! und die
lsolierung des Kabels festgeklemmt sind
und bringen Sie dann die
Steckerabdeckung wieder an. (Abb. 3)

@ On FM Antennas
Gain and directivity of multi-element FM
antennas increase with the number of
elements (so-called directors). Each additional!
director adds approximately 1 dB to the total
gain of the antenna. if the signal-strength
meter of the receiver does not light up when
the twin-lead folded dipole is connected, an
outdoor antenna with 5 to 8 elements must be
used. However, if a high-gain FM antenna is
used in close proximity to a broadcast
-transmitter (for example to alleviate multipath
problems), input overload may occur, which will
lead to increased distortion. In such cases, a
suitable attenuator should be inserted between
‘the antenna and the receiver's antenna input.
Consult the dealer who supplied the FM
antenna regarding attenuators.

2. Branchement d’un cable coaxial (75 ohms)
(1) Préparer le cable coaxial comme indiqué
sur la figure Shéma No 1.
(2) Appuyer dans la direction des fléches pour
défaire le blocage et retirer le couvercle.

(3) Retirer le fil du support A et le placer vers
l’extérieur de la cloison B a l'aide de pinces
pointues ou autres. Puis insérer le
conducteur central du cable coaxial dans le
support A, serrer fermement les griffres C
et D a l'aide des pinces pour fixer le
guipage protecteur et l’isolant. Replacer
ensuite le couvercle (se référer a
Villustration Shéma No 3 ).
@ Uber UKW-Antennen
Der Gewinn und die Richtwirkung von
Mehrelement-UKW-Antennen sind von der
Anzahl der verwendeten Elemente (sog.
Direktoren und Refiektoren) abhdngig. Mit
jedem zusatzlichen Element erhoht sich der
Gewinn um etwa 1 Dezibel. Wenn die
Signalstarke-Anzeige dieses Receivers bei
AnschluB des mitgelieferten Banddipols nicht
aufleuchtet, muB eine AuBenantenne mit 5 bis
8 Elementen verwendet werden. Wenn jedoch
eine UKW-Antenne mit hohem Gewinn und
starker Richtwirkung in relativer Nahe eines
Senders eingesetzt wird (z.B. um Probleme mit
Mehrwegeempfang zu beheben), kann
Ubersteuerung der Eingangsstufe auftreten,
was zu erhdhten Verzerrungen finhrt. In
solchen Fallen sollte ein geeignetes
Dampfungsglied zwischen Antenne und
Receiver-Eingang eingefiigt werden. Ihr
Antennen-Fachhdndler kann Sie tiber
geeignete Dampfungsglieder beraten.
