respective Preset Station button or the Shift
button and then the Preset Station button.
To change the memory content of a Preset
Station button, simply perform the above
steps (1)—(4) for the new station.
If two Preset Station buttons are pressed
simultaneously, the button with the lower
number is given priority.
When a Preset Station button is pressed
after manual tuning was performed, the unit
automatically switches to the Auto tuning
mode (Auto indicator lights), to permit
stereo reception (Stereo indicator lights if a
stereo broadcast is received).
If a very weak station (which can be
received only with manual tuning) has been
programmed into a Preset Station button,
the output may be muted when the
respective button is pressed. In such a
case, switch the receiver back to the
manual tuning mode with the Tuning Mode
selector.
Last Station Memory
This receiver's last station memory operates in
two ways.
(1) When the frequency band is changed with

the AM/FM Band selector, the last station
received in each band is memorized.
Therefore when switching back to a band,
the receiver automatically reverts to the
previous station.
) The station received immediately before the
power was turned off is also memorized.
When power is switched on again, the unit
will be tuned to this station. This also
applies if power is supplied via an external
timer.
This unit possesses a built-in lithium
battery for memory backup. The contents of
the preset station memory and the last
station memory will be preserved for about
five years even if the AC cord of the
receiver is unplugged.

(4) Wenn Sie Sender im Bereich "6—10”
speichern wollen, driicken Sie nach der
Memory-Taste die Shift-Taste. Driicken Sie
dann eine Stationstaste, um eine der
Nummern ”6” bis "10" zu wahlen.
(5) Um nach dem Einschalten des Receivers
einen gespeicherten Sender abzurufen,
geniigt es, die betreffende Stationstaste
bzw. die Shift-Taste und die Stationstaste
zu driicken.
@ Um eine Stationstaste neu zu belegen,
fiihren Sie einfach die obigen Schritte (1)
bis (4) fiir den neuen Sender durch.
@ Wenn zwei Stationstasten gleichzeitig
gedriickt werden, so hat die Taste mit der
niedrigeren Nummer Vorrang.
@ Wenn nach Benutzen der manuellen
Abstimmung eine Stationstaste gedriickt
wird, schaltet der Receiver selbsttatig zur
automatischen Abstimmung Zuriick ("Auto”-
Anzeiger !euchtet auf), um Stereo-Empfang
zu ermdglichen (bei Empfang einer
Stereosendung leuchtet der Stereo-
Anzeiger auf).
@ Wenn ein sehr schwach einfallender
Sender (der nur mit manueller Abstimmung
empfangen werden kann) in eine
Stationstaste programmiert wurde, wird der
Ton bei Driicken dieser Taste u.U.
stummgeschaitet. Schalten Sie in einem
solchen Fall mit der Abstimm-Wahltaste auf
manuelle Abstimmung.
2. Memory-Speicherung des zuletzt
empfangenen Senders
Dieser Memory-Schaltkreis besitzt zwei
Funktionen:
(1) Wenn der Wellenbereich mit dem UKW/MW-
Wellenbereichswahler umgeschaltet wird,
speichert der Receiver den zuletzt
empfangenen Sender in jedem
Wellenbereich. Beim Zuriickschalten auf
den vorigen Weilenbereich wird daher der
gleiche Sender weiter empfangen.
(2) Der Sender, der unmittelbar vor dem
Ausschalten des Receivers empfangen
wurde, wird ebenfalls gespeichert. Beim
Wiedereinschalten ist das Gerat dann auf
diesen Sender abgestimmt. Dies gilt auch,
wenn der Netzstrom von einem separaten
Timer eingeschaltet wird.
Dieses Gerat besitzt eine eingebaute
Lithium-Batterie zur Speicherunterstiitzung.
Die Memory-Schaltkreise fir Stationstasten
und zuletzt empfangenen Sender behalten
ihren Inhait flr etwa flinf Jahre bei, auch
wenn die Stromversorgung unterbrochen
wird.
(4) Lorsque vous désirez mettre des stations
en mémoires 6 a 10, appuyer sur la touche
de mise en mémoire puis sur celle d'accés
afin d’atteindre les mémoires 6 a 10.
Appuyer ensuite sur !a touche de station
pré-réglée pour choisir un des numéros de
“6” a“10".
(5) Pour rappeler une station mise en mémoire
aprés la mise en marche du récepteur,
appuyer simplement sur la touche
respective de la station pré-réegiée ou sur la
touche d’accés puis sur la touche de
station pré-régiée.
® Pour changer le contenu de la mémoire
d'une touche de station pré-régiée,
effectuer simplement chacune des étapes
décrites ci-dessus de (1) a (4) pour
mémoriser la nouveile station.
@ Si vous appuyez en méme temps sur deux
touches de station pré-réglée, le récepteur
choisit !a touche dont le numéro est le plus
petit.
@ Si une touche de station pré-régiée est
enfoncée aprés une recherche manuellie
des fréquences, l'appareil revient
automatiquement en mode de recherche
automatique (le voyant “Auto” s’allume) afin
de permettre une réception en stéréo (le
voyant de stéréophonie s’allume si une
émission en stéréo est recue).
© Si une faible station (qui ne peut étre
captée qu’en recherche manuelle) a été
programmée comme station pré-réglée, la
sortie sera mise en sourdine lorsque la
touche respective sera enfoncée. Dans ce
cas, régler le récepteur sur le mode de
recherche manuelle des fréquences a l’aide
du sélecteur du mode de recherche.
2. Mémoire de la derniére station
La mémoire de la derniére station de ce
récepteur fonctionne dans deux cas:
(1) Lorsque la bande de fréquences est
changée avec !e sélecteur de bande
FM/AM, la derniére station captée de la
bande précédente est mémorisée. Par
conséquent, lorsque vous changez de
bande a nouveau, le récepteur revient
automatiquement a la station antérieure.
(2) La derniére station captée juste avant la
mise hors tension est aussi mémorisée.
Lorsque le récepteur est remis en marche,
celui-ci revient automatiquement a cette
station. Ceci s'applique également si vous
utilisez un timer.
Cet appareil est équipé d’une pile au lithium
incorporée pour la sauvegarde des
mémoires. Le contenu des mémoires des
stations pré-régiées et de ja mémoire de la
derniére station est conservé pendant a
peu prés cing années, méme si Je cable
d'alimentation du récepteur est debranche.
