• Good Focus: Clear cell image – sharp cell membrane, dark cell
body with contrast to the bright background.
• Bad focus #1: Unclear cell image – no contrast to the background.
• Bad focus #2: Bright and white cell body undistinguishable to the
background.
• Bad focus #3: Blurry and unclear cell image background.
