What to do if carbon is being deposited on the glass of my Napoleon GD3200B-N Indoor Fireplace?
    • D
      Denise LeAug 8, 2025
If you notice carbon deposits on the glass, logs, or combustion chamber surfaces of your Napoleon Indoor Fireplace, it may be due to a blocked air shutter. Make sure the air shutter opening is free of any lint or obstructions. Also, check that the logs are correctly positioned. If the issue persists, try opening the air shutter to increase the primary air.

Why are the flames too large on my Napoleon Indoor Fireplace?
    • J
      james98Aug 19, 2025
If the flames on your Napoleon Indoor Fireplace are consistently too large or too small, the unit might be over-fired or under-fired. Check the pressure readings. The inlet pressure should be a minimum of 4.5" water column for natural gas (7" recommended) or 11" water column for propane (13" recommended). The outlet pressure should be 3.5" water column for natural gas or 10" water column for propane, with the main burner operating on "HI". After checking, firmly turn screws clockwise to reseal and leak test with a soap and water solution.

How to fix a blue, lazy flame on a Napoleon Indoor Fireplace?
    • T
      Taylor WilcoxAug 28, 2025
A blue, lazy, transparent flame on your Napoleon Indoor Fireplace's main burner may indicate a blockage in the vent. Remove any blockage. In very cold conditions, ice buildup may occur on the terminal, and you should remove it as needed. Also, refer to Figure 13 to ensure correct location of storm collars.
