Why is the heat low on my Napoleon PRO22K-CART-2 Grill?

  If your Napoleon Grill experiences low heat or low flame, first ensure that the charcoal is preheated properly. Allow the charcoal to burn until it is covered with a light grey ash, which usually takes about 20-25 minutes. Also, check that the vents are open to provide enough airflow. If the heat remains low, add more charcoal to the charcoal tray. Finally, make sure you are not opening the lid too frequently, as this causes the temperature to drop and increases cooking times. Keep the lid closed as much as possible during cooking.

  If you notice what appears to be paint peeling inside the lid or hood of your Napoleon Grill, don't worry, it is not a defect. The finish on the lid is porcelain and will not peel.
