9.1.2 Using the Arrange buttons
The advanced integration controls using the Arrange buttons available basic control functions
mapped to the sections of the KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series keyboard are listed below.
Ideas View
When you press SCENE on the KOMPELTE KONTROL S-Series, you are presented with the
Ideas view in the displays. This view is identical to the Ideas view of the MASCHINE software
and gives you instant control over Scenes and Patterns.

In the Ideas view you can perform the following actions:
Button on KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series Action in MASCHINE
Button 1–8 Focusses a Scene or creates new Scene,
respectively
Knob 1–8 Selects another Pattern in Scenes and selects
the corresponding Group in touch.
SHIFT + Button 4 (DUPLICATE) Inserts a copy of the selected Scene.
SHIFT + Button 5 (INSERT) Inserts an empty Scene.
